But maybe you don’t know exactly what you need or why you need it? We’ll provide some explanation for all of the different bits and pieces that comprise the parts needed to tow your trailer effectively.

Couplers – This is the part of the trailer that covers and locks onto the tow vehicle hitch ball physically connecting the trailer to the vehicle. Operators can remove and replace the coupler on a trailer as needed in order to match the size of the hitch ball on the vehicle.

Jacks – Just like a standard jack for your vehicle when changing a tire, a trailer jack provides stationary support when coupling and uncoupling you trailer and vehicle or while the trailer is in storage. We offer a wide selection of jacks that can handle a vast range of capacities from 1000 lbs. to 10000 lbs.

Breakaway Kit – If you’re using an electric trailer brakes, then you will need an interface between the brakes on your towing vehicle and the trailer itself. These controller brakes can be activated by inertia or based on time delay from activation of vehicle brakes.

Axles – When buying an axle you need to know your capacity of your trailer. The different size of axles and the number of lugs are dependent on what you’re towing! We can help steer you in the right direction if you’re swapping out axles in your trailer.
